At Love From Luisa, we use the abundance of each season’s offerings to create wedding cake flavours that are both delicious and luxurious. We source local ingredients that have more flavour and nutritional value, and fewer food-miles. Taking this approach also helps to support our ecosystems by working with what nature has to offer.

We can adapt most of our menus to cater for allergen requirements including vegan cake flavours.

Spring / Summer


Wedding Cake Flavours

Apricot, Walnut & Honey

Classic vanilla sponge cake with walnut brittle pieces. Laced with local Sussex honey syrup and filled with a honey ripple, vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.

Blueberry, Almond & Vanilla  

Vanilla sponge cake loaded with plump local blueberries & almond praline pieces. Drenched in vanilla bean syrup, filled with whipped meringue buttercream.

Cherry, Kirsch & Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate mud cake with black summer cherries. Laced with cherry Kirsch syrup and filled with milk chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream.

Chocolate, Blackberry & Black Pepper

Rich chocolate sponge generously laden with ripe seasonal blackberries. Filled with cracked black pepper Swiss meringue buttercream.

Raspberry, Pistachio & White Chocolate

Pistachio cake brimming with fresh sharp raspberries and a raspberry ripple. With a white chocolate meringue buttercream filling.

Lemon, Elderflower & Vanilla

Fragrant lemon zest cake with sharp lemon, aromatic elderflower syrup. With a whipped vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream filling.

Wedding Cake Flavours

Poached Pear, Cinnamon & Salt Caramel

Classic vanilla sponge laden with pieces of pear, poached in cinnamon and star anise. Filled with a salt caramel rippled Swiss meringue buttercream.

Apple, Brown Sugar & Almond

Brown sugar sponge cake loaded with baked sharp Bramley apple & almond praline pieces. Drenched in vanilla bean, brown sugar syrup, filled with whipped meringue buttercream.

Fig, Honey & Orange

Rich dark chocolate cake spiked with fragrant orange & laced with seasonal black fig pieces baked in honey. Filled with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.

Passion Fruit, Vanilla & Meringue

Fragrant citrus sponge. Generously filled with whipped vanilla meringue buttercream rippled with sharp, sweet passion fruit curd.

Espresso, Muscovado & Sesame

Bittersweet muscovado cake laced with fresh brewed espresso coffee. Filled with toasted sesame paste Swiss meringue buttercream filling.

Spiced Chai & Vanilla

Fine demerara sugar sponge cake steeped in spiced chai latte syrup. Filled with Vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream.

    We charge for our extra special wedding cake flavour tasting boxes. If you do book a wedding cake with Love From Luisa 50% of the cost of your tasting box will be taken off your final wedding cake bill.

    If you are booking an Autumn/Winter wedding and want to sample the flavours please get in touch and Luisa will get back to you with our Autumn/Winter wedding cake tasting box posting schedule.

    We have limited availability and if we sell out before getting back you you will not be charged and automatically go onto the reserves list and Luisa will let you know if we have any cancellations.
