I know custom cake pricing can feel a little overwhelming at first. My aim is to be as clear and transparent as possible, while helping you choose a cake that suits both your celebration and your budget.
Every cake I create is designed and handcrafted to order, which means pricing reflects the time, skill, and care involved in bringing your ideas to life.

How Custom Cake Pricing Works
- Minimum spend for custom celebration cakes: £95 – £120
- BouCakes: £85 – £95
- Number Cakes: £65 (single) £125 (double)
- Single-tier cakes (12–14 servings): typically £120–£160
- Tiered cakes (30+ servings): from £185
Most clients spend £120–£180 on a single-tier celebration cake, or £250 – £350 on a tiered celebration cake, depending on intricate design details.
How It Works
1. Fill in the Enquiry Form
Tell me all about your celebration! Share your date, number of servings, flavour ideas, theme, and any inspiration photos you may have.
2. Let’s Talk Design
I’ll get in touch to discuss your ideas in more detail. We’ll finalise the design, size, and any special details to make your cake perfect for the occasion.
3. Receive Your Final Quote
Once the design is confirmed, you’ll receive a personalised final quote based on the size, design complexity, and any extras requested.
4. Add Delivery (Optional)
Delivery can be added if required and will be quoted separately based on location and date.
5. Secure Your Date
For bookings made in advance, a deposit is required to secure your date. The remaining balance can be paid closer to your event.
What Influences the Final Price?
The cost of a custom cake depends on:
- The number of servings required
- The complexity of the design (piping, painting, sculpted or themed elements)
- Any extras or decorative finishes, such as gold leaf, flowers, or speciality techniques

How far in advance should I book?
I recommend enquiring 3–4 weeks in advance, or 6–8 weeks for tiered cakes or busy seasons. Availability is limited.
Do you offer more affordable options?
If full customisation isn’t essential, my pre-designed cakes — including BouCakes, Lambeth cakes, and Number cakes — are a beautiful, budget-friendly alternative.
