Signature Cake Design – The BouCake

The BouCake is one of my most recognisable cake designs and was created as a way to combine art, colour and flavour into a single edible centrepiece.

Inspired by the beauty of flowers and natural forms, each BouCake is decorated with hand-painted fruit petals arranged to resemble a vibrant bouquet. The result is a cake that feels both playful and elegant, perfect for birthdays, creative celebrations and anyone looking for something a little different.

Because every BouCake is made by hand in my Brighton kitchen, each one is slightly different in colour, composition and arrangement, making every cake a unique piece of edible art.

While the design is visually striking, flavour remains just as important. Each BouCake is baked fresh using high-quality ingredients and seasonal flavours, ensuring the cake tastes just as special as it looks.

Cake Collection / Delivery

I offer cakes for collection from our central Brighton location by appointment. When ordering, we will arrange a collection slot with a 30-minute window when you can collect your cake.

Brighton delivery is available from £15

Delivery is available subject to availability. If you selected delivery, we will be in touch directly to confirm and schedule the timings. An invoice for delivery will be sent separately.

Delivery is available from £15 in central Brighton. I can quote for any location; simply provide your postcode on enquiry.

What is a BouCake?

The BouCake is my signature celebration cake design — a colourful, nature-inspired cake styled to resemble a vibrant bouquet. Each cake is decorated using 100% edible hand-painted fruit petals, carefully arranged to create a striking edible centrepiece.

Is every BouCake unique?

Yes. Each BouCake is handmade and individually styled, meaning no two cakes are ever the same. The colours and fruit petals are arranged to create a unique design inspired by nature.

Can I customise BouCakes?

Yes. The colour palette and decorative elements can be customised to some degree. You are welcome to suggest a colour palette, specific fruits or berries, or other design elements to inspire the decoration of your BouCake.

Custom BouCakes are £95+, depending on the design details and any additional decorative elements.

What size are BouCakes?

BouCakes are available in one signature size: an 8-inch bundt-style cake, designed to serve approximately 12 generous portions. This size works beautifully as a centrepiece cake for birthdays and smaller celebrations.

What flavours are available for BouCakes?

BouCakes can be made in any of my celebration cake flavours. Some flavours may require minor adaptations to suit the BouCake design, and I will confirm this when discussing your order. You can explore the full flavour menu on the Celebration Cake Flavours page.

Do you offer vegan or gluten-free BouCakes?

Many of my cake flavours can be adapted for vegan or gluten-free options. If you have dietary requirements, simply include them in the notes section when submitting your enquiry.

Do you offer delivery for BouCakes?

Yes. BouCakes can be collected from my central Brighton kitchen by appointment, or delivery can be arranged.

• £35 – East Sussex (within 10 miles)
• £95 – London and further locations (please enquire for a quote)

How far in advance should I order a BouCake?

I recommend ordering at least 2–4 weeks in advance, where possible. However, shorter notice orders may occasionally be available depending on my schedule.

How do I secure my BouCake order?

Once your design and cake details are confirmed, a 50% deposit secures your booking in my diary. The remaining balance is due 7 days before collection or delivery.
